OSHA University offers a variety of Hazwoper Training Courses depending on your companies needs and level of OSHA hazmat training requirements you desire. We offer certified online hazwoper 40 hour, hazwoper 24 hour and 8 hour hazwoper refresher training and hazwoper certifications in the following areas:

Hazwoper 40 Hour - This course is specifically developed for employees that are involved in hazardous material clean-up, voluntary clean-up operations or emergency response operations.  Also covered in the course is storage, disposal and treatment of hazardous substances. The 40 hazwoper training meets the standard requirements of 40 hours initial training.

Hazwoper 24 Hour - The 24 hour hazwoper training course delivers  the required training modules for certification of the 24 hour occasional site worker level for hazardous materials training. 

8 Hour Hazwoper Refresher - This course meets the requirements in OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 for eight hours of annual refresher training for workers at hazardous waste sites. This course is designed for general site workers who remove hazardous waste or who are exposed or potentially exposed to hazardous substances or health hazards.

Hazwoper 1st Responder Awareness Level - This hazwoper course covers hazard recognition at work sites. It covers identifying different types of hazards and suggests precautions to take to reduce and eliminate hazards in the workplace.

Hazwoper 1st Responder Operations Level II - This course covers broad issues pertaining to hazard recognition at work sites.  This hazmat certification training covers different types of hazards and introduces precautions and protective measures to reduce and eliminate hazards in the workplace.
